Airtel Psiphon settings for WTF Social plan

About a year ago, Airtel released their social bundle plan that offers 20gb data, for powering social messaging apps, like WhatsApp, Twitter, Facebook and BBM (WTF). But the 20gb social data plan from Airtel doesn't seem to work for other apps, even when we try to use it trickishly to browse and power all apps, none were working.

Today, am so delighted to be breaking the news to you, that it's now 100% possible to use and power all app's for browsing on your Android device using Airtel social 20gb data plan for N200 via Psiphon settings. Yes! So true.

Airtel Psiphon settings to power all apps to use the 20gb WTF social plan for N200

Firstly, you will have to subscribe to the monthly social network bundle, by dialing *688#, then Download and Install the Psiphon vpn app via Google search.

Then, use this APN Settings via your phone's Internet connection settings.

  • Name: WetechngBlog
  • Apn: internet.ng.airtel.com
  • Proxy: Leave it empty/Blank
  • Port: Leave it empty also

Now, launch the Psiphon app, and then input the below settings via your handler's menu.

  • Tick Remove port
  • Proxy type: Real host
  • Proxy server: nokia-s40-11-cust.opera-mini.net
  • Real Proxy type: http
  • Real Proxy port: 80

You're almost done! Now goto settings, and select USA as your Country Region, then click on More options, there untick the Connect through HTTP Proxy. And Finally! You can now hit the connect button, to power all apps and start browsing unlimited for just N200 on Airtel.
