MTN 4G LTE Network is still on-going some Tests, and will finally be out to the opened, but who know's when?

Today am going to be tutoring you on how to join MTN 'Test' their 4G LTE Network. Lol! Funny right? Yes, but possible with the pre-existing Visafone sim.

About some Years ago, MTN acquired the Visafone network, and that was what really made the MTN '4G LTE Network'. Yes! Visafone.

Let's go straight to what you need to get started with the "4G Network", hmmm! I guess it's speed 'speed' must be going through your mind? Lol.

Requirements to get started with the MTN 4G Network

  1. 4G Enabled Smartphone: First thing-first! You must have an Android or iOS Smartphone that is 4G enabled. It's no magic, you can't start thinking of a 4G Network without a 4G supported phone. So, that's first thing-first.
  2. MTN Visafone Line: We shouldn't be using the name visafone any longer, because it's now MTN's but for a fresh rethink, i think it's necessary. You will have to get a Visafone sim. Because during the sale, all Visafone customers where Migrated to MTN
  3. A 4G Signal Coverage: Yes! Very important and I will assume you have got some in your 'Areas', because at first, you won't even be thinking or searching of 'How to activate a 4G Network', when you haven't goten none in your area.

That's all you will need. For now! :)

New Way to Activate, Subscribe and use MTN 4G Network on your Smartphone

I will assume, you must have goten a Visafone sim. Ok! Let's read on.

Make sure you have nothing less than N500 on your account balance.

Then dial *444#, to see all MTN's hidden 4G Data Plans. Now reply with 3, then select and purchase a data plan of your choice. That's as simple as ABC. I hope you got it!

Furthermore, Alot of you might be having issues opt-in out from the activated plan. Or you might be receiving endless messages, telling that you have exhausted your data plan, or whatever!

How to resolve auto-renewal issues on MTN 4G Network

Simply! Dial *444#, and select 3, then 8 to deactivate your subscription plan. Easy! And if you want to opt-in again, use the above steps and you will be just fine.
